The ASAL Humanitarian Network issues competitive Calls for Proposals (CFPs) to identify implementing partners, technical collaborators, and research institutions that can deliver targeted interventions across Kenya’s arid and semi-arid lands. These proposals may relate to thematic areas such as climate resilience, gender justice, peacebuilding, capacity strengthening, or emergency response—depending on current funding priorities and programmatic needs.
All proposals are assessed through a structured evaluation process that ensures relevance, impact, and alignment with AHN’s strategic pillars. We encourage submissions from women-led organizations, community-based entities, and locally registered NGOs. Whether applying as a consortium or individual lead applicant, proposals should demonstrate measurable results, value for money, and community ownership. Successful applicants will be engaged through sub-grant agreements or technical collaboration contracts, subject to due diligence and donor compliance standards.
